Sloane Romera walks into a hotel room ready to do something she thought she would never do; give away her virginity to a paying customer. She is doing it for a reason though. She is giving this away to get information about her missing sister Alexis. It’s been so long without any answers that Sloane is willing to do anything at this point. Once in the hotel room, Sloane is instructed to be blindfolded and ends up having a wonderful night, something she thought she would never have by giving control away like that. The mysterious, sinful-voiced man made the night about her, and Sloane loved every bit of it. Though the next morning when she went to get the information, the man wasn’t there. For days she tries to get a hold of the men, and eventually she goes to his office, only to find him dead. As she searches, she notices her sister’s file is missing, or at least all the important information. Sloane is at a dead end once again.

Zeth Mayfair didn’t know what to do when he saw a beautiful girl in his hotel room. He knew she wasn’t a normal sex worker. She was doing this because she was desperate, and then he found out why, and Zeth was furious. Though this didn’t stop him from having fun with the girl. After a fun night, Zeth decided to take a trip to the girl’s employer and saw that he wasn’t planning on giving the girl, Sloane, any information about her sister. He learned that her sister is with a major crime boss and he doesn’t want Sloane to go anywhere near it. So he takes the file and kills the man.

Two years later, Sloane is now a doctor working in the ER as a surgeon. It keeps her busy, living her mundane life. She believes she is about to start her nice, quiet weekend when all of a sudden a car pulls in with a patient who has tried to take her own life. She knows she will be in for a long night.

Zeth is a powerful crime boss. After a long day at work, he is happy to be going back home to his friend Lacey. He once found Lacey on his front porch shortly after he got out of prison. He knew she needed help and decided to take her in. Though that night when he got into the house, he saw Lacey’s body. She had tried to commit suicide. He takes her to the closest ER, and once she is being taken care of, a doctor comes out to talk to him. To his shock, it is Sloane, the girl from years ago that he slowly became obsessed with.

Sloane performs surgery on the young girl and goes out to talk to the man who brought her in. Once she sees him, she hears his voice, and she is immediately taken back to two years prior. She knows that voice. She calls him out on that night. Though at first he won’t admit it, he vaguely mentions that it was him, and Sloane can’t believe that she found her mystery guy. The mysterious man, though, has things to do and threatens Sloane, telling her that his friend can’t be put in a psych ward, and he will come for her the next day.

Sloane then tries to figure out her mystery man’s name, as well as her new patient’s real name. When the girl wakes up, she lets slip that the man’s name is Zeth. The girl then wants to talk to Zeth and takes Sloane’s phone to talk to him. When Sloane comes back, her phone and the girl are gone. That night, she tracks her phone back, knowing that Zeth now has it. Zeth tells her an address to come and get her phone back. To Sloane’s surprise, it’s a sex club. She quickly finds Zeth and the two have a little tiff that leads into flirty fighting. Sloane reveals she hasn’t been with anyone since their first night, and then she realizes that she wants to do more with him right then. The two do a session at the club and others even watch, which is something Sloane never thought she would do. By the end of the night, Sloane is shocked, slightly ashamed, but leaves with her phone and new memories to think about.

The next morning, Zeth decides he is utterly obsessed with Sloane. He wants her house key, mostly to protect her, but also for other reasons. He forces her to give the house key up, but in return also gives her his house key. Sloane also gives Zeth the phone number of her friend Pip, a psychiatrist who can help Lacey after her suicide attempt. Zeth then shows up at Sloane’s house. He tells her that he knows that Alexis, her sister, is indeed alive. This then leads to the two having another session together, but Sloane ends it by kissing Zeth, which is something Zeth has never wanted. He freaks out and tells her to never kiss him again, and storms out of the building.

Zeth, not knowing what else to do, and knowing that Sloane will be upset with him too, decides to go see Pip and see if it will be a good fit for Lacey. While there, Pip makes her dislike for Zeth known and says that if Zeth cares about Sloane, then he also has to take some therapy. Zeth can’t see a way out of it and has to say yes, not only for Sloane, but also because he thinks it will be good for Lacey. Zeth then gets a call from some of his team. Michael, a crime boss named Charlie Holsan is making a reappearance, and Zeth is going to need to get involved.

Sloane is working another shift at the hospital when a young man comes in after being shot. Some police come in with the man, saying he was involved with the mob, and they have mug shots of those that were involved. To Sloane’s shock, Zeth’s mug shot is in there. When the shift ends, Zeth is there, and he confirms what he does for work. But he doesn’t want to talk about that. He wants to drop Lacey off with Sloane so he can go off to visit Charlie and maybe get Alexis back. Sloane puts up a fight because she really wants to go, but Zeth refuses and the two girls end up staying back.

Sloane and Lacey get to know each other more. Lacey goes to Pip and has her first session and wants Sloane to stay there as well. This is when Sloane learns that Lacey was in the foster care system and was passed around from family to family. One of the families raped her, and others beat her. None of it was good. After the session, Lacey tells Sloane that Zeth is her brother, but Zeth doesn’t know. That night, there is a break-in and some men steal Lacey. Sloane fights them off, and Lacey is able to make a call to get some coordinates to where Zeth is. The two then start driving.

Zeth has made it out to the middle of the desert where Charlie Holsan is. It’s been years since Zeth has been there, but he has a feeling this is where Alexis will be. He already sent Michael, his second in command, early to start spying, but now it’s his turn to make contact with Charlie. While trying to set up a deal with some sex workers, there is a commotion. To Zeth’s anger, it is Sloane. Having to make up a lie on the spot, Sloane now has to play a part as being Zeth’s plus one, and basically be a prostitute for Zeth. Once they get a free moment, Zeth shows how angry he is, but is grateful that she didn’t bring Lacey. Though now Sloane has a perfect opportunity to go be with the other sex workers to see if she can find Alexis.

Meanwhile, Zeth is with Charlie, who is not happy with the stunt with Sloane and now believes that Zeth sent in a spy. So they go down and find Michael, someone who Charlie believes is a spy. Charlie puts Michael on a lie detector and asks all sorts of questions. Luckily, Michael is skilled and prepared for this and doesn’t fail. But to Zeth’s surprise, when another crime boss, Rafe, is brought up, Michael says that it is his cousin. And when Charlie calls Rafe, it is actually confirmed. Charlie is forced to let Michael go, and Zeth is now shocked at his number two even more.

Sloane is with all of the girls. Though two are missing, all she can do is hope that one of them is her sister. Though the two girls won’t arrive till the next day, so Sloane goes back to her room, and she and Zeth have another night together. Though Zeth almost hurts Sloane when she accidentally wakes him up in the middle of the night. He promises to sleep on the ground from now on so he won’t hurt her again.

The next morning, Charlie informs them that Rafe is coming, and now Zeth is worried for Sloane. He doesn’t want her near him at all. He sends her back to the room, though she is soon called out when there is some commotion. When Sloane gets outside, she sees that a girl has been shot. To her horror, it is Alexis. She goes into doctor mode and starts to perform surgery with the tools that are available, but she starts to panic that she won’t be able to save her sister. Zeth has to come and give her a pep talk and tell her that she can do it. Once Alexis is somewhat stable, Sloane insists that she be taken to a hospital, despite Zeth not wanting a trail back to all of this. Charlie even puts up a fight because it turns out that Alexis is his favorite girl, and when he finds out that Zeth was indeed only there for a girl, he is upset and wants proper payment for it. Zeth doesn’t care and grabs both Romera girls and gets them to the hospital.

While at the hospital, Zeth waits with Sloane. Though soon, another man shows up. He claims to be Alexis’s husband, and he says it is about time Sloane finally showed up for her sister. Sloane is shocked to hear this and wants answers from her sister, because she thought her sister had been gone for years, unhappy and in pain. When Alexis finally wakes, Sloane goes in to talk to her and doesn’t have the reunion she thought she would have. Alexis is in shock to see her. She confirms that she really was taken, but that her husband saved her. Sloane just wants to know why she never came back to her family and left them all confused about everything. Alexis doesn’t have any answers, so Sloane leaves. As she is leaving, Alexis’s husband comes for her and says that she can’t judge Alexis too much, because they are both interested in the same type of men, and then nods to Zeth.
