Ford Grant is looking for a new experience. The big city life and billionaire status are great, but he wants to sit back and find something out of the full public eye. He decides to start a recording studio in Rose Hill, where he runs into his old childhood crush and best friend’s sister, Rosie Belmont. Rosie found her big city job, but when she is sexually harassed and it ends up getting her fired, she leaves for a new start, and working for Ford becomes the best option she has. Starting his new business and having Rosie back in his life is going great—until a 12-year-old girl arrives claiming to be his daughter. It turns out, Ford donated sperm when he was younger and it was used. Cora, his daughter, recently lost her dad and her mom isn’t doing great. Ford offers for her to come live with him while her mom gets better. Ford learns to become a father, and Rosie helps. Ford and Rosie have a whole push-and-pull relationship, especially when Ford tells Rosie’s brother about the sexual assault, and it lands her brother in prison. Eventually, everything works out, and Ford and Rosie fall in love. Cora and her mom end up moving into town as well, because it makes Cora happy.

Skyler Stone and Weston Belmont

Skyler Stone is a superstar, but has also been groomed to be the perfect people-pleaser she is. After a rough scandal and finding out that everything she has done up to this point belongs to her parents, she decides to show up to Ford Grant’s new studio in hopes of starting her own recordings. While there, she stays in the guest house of West Belmont. West is the hottest bachelor in town and loves spending time with his two kids, Emmy and Oliver, and quickly Skyler starts to love them. West sees that Skyler needs some help with her confidence and helps her figure that out—from taking her phone away to building her up in general. Skyler and West end up getting very close, and Skyler struggles with wanting to go back to her celebrity life or stay in Rose Hill. It all changes when Skyler’s nude photos sent to West end up getting leaked, and West’s kids have to deal with some of the fallout as well. Skyler decides to leave Rose Hill, leaving the kids behind, and with a new single (which the kids gave inspiration for), decides to go back to the limelight. She immediately hates it, and at an award show, where West shows up to support her, Skyler wins. She uses that moment to throw her parents under the bus about everything they have done to her, then says she is taking a step back to be with West and his family, because it makes her happy.

Tabitha Garrison and Rhys Dupris

Tabitha Garrison has had a rough couple of weeks. She is dealing with the aftermath of her sister Erika’s death. She has always been the middleman between her family and Erika, as they disowned her some time ago, but with her death, there is something new involved—her child, Milo. Tabby plans on taking the reins of motherhood until Rhys Dupris shows up. Rhys was Erika’s landlord, and apparently a good enough friend that he was made guardian of Milo upon Erika’s death. The two need to figure out what’s best for Milo, as Tabby wants Milo around his family, but everything that Erika has ever told Rhys makes it seem like Tabby and her family are not the right choice. Rhys is even more protective because he grew up in the foster system, and he wants Milo to have a stable home. Rhys agrees that Milo can stay with Tabby for the time being, as Rhys also just finished physical therapy and is continuing his job of WWE wrestling—where his identity is hidden. Rhys eventually learns that Tabby and her family aren’t that bad, and he even starts to enjoy her company and her family’s. The two end up getting fake married just so Rhys can have a dual-citizenship passport and still travel for work. The two end up falling in love, even more so when Rhys gets injured in one of his matches and has to stay home to recover. Years later, they end up having a little girl together, and Rhys reveals his identity and hangs up his belt for wrestling.
